About Dumfries Dental Clinic and Implant Centre
Following a £600,000 investment, Dumfries Dental Clinic & Implant Centre has moved from 27 Castle
Street to its new home 100 metres away at 195 High Street. This relocation and investment by Scottish
Dental Care will enable the clinic to more than double its patient capacity, increasing treatment rooms
from 4 to 6.
The Clinic will now offer the latest technology including an iTero scanner which is specifically designed
for highly sought after Invisalign treatments, as well as a CBCT scanner to capture precise 3D imagery
of the mouth as an alternative to traditional dental moulds – a procedure which had previously left
patients travelling to Edinburgh or Glasgow to access.
The clinic is set to grow its NHS list whilst also bringing innovative cosmetic dentistry under its
Advanced Dentistry brand to this part of Scotland for the first time.

Martin graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2000 and since then has worked in both NHS and Private practices throughout the country.
In addition to all aspects of general dentistry, Martin’s particular focus is on dental implants and restorative dentistry, especially crown and bridge work in both basic and advanced cases.
Outside of work, Martin enjoys spending time socialising with family and friends and working on his handicap on the golf course!
